i have learnt that if you want to control your negative feelings you just have to sit down and relax or watch your favourite cartoon on the television or take deep breaths or count to 10 slowly...you can do anything you like instead of thinking it over and over again like if you have not done your homework your teacher gave you after you came back from school then just relax first or first you do half of your homework you cam finish them in the evening...

There are ways to control your feelings for example,
1)when you are angry, try to calm yourself down by taking deep breaths and look on the bright side.Or,you can have a cup of cold water to cool yourself down and watch some tv or watch funny videos to make you stop thinking about all the bad stuff. When i am angry,i will go to Youtube or facebook and listen to music or funny videos or if i'm on facebook,i will talk to my friends so i will not think about it.
2)When you are sad,you can approach a teacher or your parents or maybe your close friend and tell them about your problem.Or,you can watch some tv or sleep or maybe even watch some happy videos or maybe even listen to calming songs.
Whenever i am sad,i will try and not think about it and think about happy stuffs instead so that i will feel better.

When I feel angry I can go and sleep on my bed.
I can do my homework or play computer.
I can look at the sky outside my house or play badminton with my family.
I can make myself cry on the bed and just try to smile and say to myself that this is normal.

I have learnt that there are many things to control your negative feelings like taking a deep breath , running , jumping , playing computer games , playing with friends , talking about it to a understanding friend , family , or teachers. Actually , I have not used many of them but I always take a deep breath. It always works. Or you can always just not think about the problem , play board games , or anything you can think of. There are hundreds of ideas out there just waiting for you to find them. To list them out would be too tedious. You should control your feelings. Even if you are extremely angry , you should not steal things or damage public property. It is illegal to steal or damage public propety or private property.

I can always try using many methods to control my negative feelings for example, I can sit down and maybe read a book or even shut my eyes for a while. I can also listen to music or seek advice from a trusted adult e.g. my mother or father for advice on the situation...... but never resort to violence because it is never the answer to anything. Sometimes, these methods do work, they do help you to relax and can may also help your negative feelings to go away.
I feel that negative feelings can come more often depending on the person. If you are a optimistic person, you will have less negative feelings. Whereas, if you are a pessimistic person, you will have more negative feelings.
I believe that it is better to be an optimistic person as you will have less negative feelings and also feel less stressed and worried. I think that we should all be optimistic, look at the brighter side of things so that we can enjoy life.

To control all negative feelings like: Examples:
1) Taking deep breathe(s) ( breathe in, breathe out...)
2) Close your eyes and slowly count to ten ( 1... 2... 3...)
3) Sit back( you can also lie down in bed) and relax
4) Think about something that is going to happen (which is a good thing)
Let's take this example...
You forgot to bring or do your homework and your teacher scolds you and threathens to call and inform your parents or your teacher makes you stayback back during your recess and you are very upset and annoyed because he or she is eating up your eating and playing time. You arrive home feeling very uncomfortable ( you feel like crying) then instead of you thinking about it, you should think that it is not really that bad because the teacher has sacrificed their recess time just for you too!
Thinking on the positive side, it will help you feel much much more better inside, deep down in your heart. If you are a very negative person, try your very best to think positively. ^^

Tan Owen 5 Graciousness said...

I think that the best way to control negative emotions is to prevent the negative emotions from even gathering up in one's soul. After all prevention is better than cure. Other ways include meditation, deep breathing exercises and just enjoying a sunset view. Anything goes, as long as it makes oneself happy and full of positive emotion. Think about it on the bright side of anything that may give you negative emotions throughout the day. If all else fails, go with the fundamentals. Smile, say hi to everyone you know, or just be yourself.

Hi my name is S.SHRREE SINDUJAH NAIR. Today I am going to talk about how I control my negative feelings and more about the article. I feel that the person in the article cannot control his anger. When I am angry, I do these things to calm me down:

1] Listen to my favorite songs
2] Calm my self down by counting 1 to 3
3] Take 4 to 10 deep breaths
4] And write my thoughts and my personal feeling in my journal

These is how I control my personal emotions and feelings .By doing this I will calm down and understand the situation I am in, the people that are in it. Not only that I will think why I am angry, why is the person scolding me is angry, what are the consequences and is the situation I am in is reasonable. Sometimes you must see and be in the other peoples shoes. For example, if I did the mistake and I put the blame on my friend. My friend will be put in such a bad situation. So before you get angry, you must see if your anger is really in the wrong on your side.

THANK YOU

I feel that the person in the article shows that he cannot control his anger. creative ways that I use to control my strong negative feelings are sometimes I usually calm myself down by sitting in front of the computer and browsing about things that I like, like computer games and movies. Another way I can control my strong negative feelings is going outside and sitting down on a bench and reading a book, books always help to calm me down when I am feeling negative, I like to read books about adventure and mystery, because there are always twists and turns and surprises to be uncovered. Another way of controlling my negative feelings is to sleep sleeping always relaxes my head and body. That is all the ways that I use to control my strong negative feelings but it usually only works at home.

Wong Yu Shuang 5 Graciousness said...

Usually, I will take deep breaths until the negative feeling is out of my mind, listen to calming songs, do some type of art or drawing or anything that I like to do, maybe even take a shower to calm my mind. My favourite thing to do when I feel negative is to write my feelings on a book. But I do not often have negative feelings, so I do not do much of these things. But I will still sometimes do these type of methods when I feel stressed. These methods will help me a lot in future when I feel negative especially stressed.

I will write it in my diary,

breathe in and out a few times and

watch some television programs.

these are some of the ways i try to calm myself down when i am really angry. They are other ways people try to calm themselves down.I get angry when my father scolds me but i just bear with it.I even use the breathing method sometimes.

Well, we can control our emotions by breathing in through your nose, and breathing out through your mouth(like NAPFA 1.6). We can also hold our breath and count to 10. Those steps calms me down when I am angry. When I am sad, I just tell myself to try to calm down, but after awhile, I'll still get sad again. But we should control our feelings and emotions.

Well, there are many ways to control strong negative feelings but it depends on which to choose. When you think of negative thoughts you don’t care you just want to shout and express your feelings. I think that they are wrong because instead of counting their blessings they count their frustration.
So, I’m going to tell you ways to control negative feelings. First, I would do what I like. In my case to sleep because when I wake up I literally forget what I am angry about because I am forgetful.
Secondly, is to take deep breaths and count to 10. That will help calm me down.
Thirdly, I would give myself some alone time. I would go in to my room and try to reflect on what I did, was I right or not. Most people would think the other party is wrong if it is about you and another person but were you reasonable and did you provoke the other party.
Lastly if it is about homework and exams, I would just try my best and put in my best effort. If you didn’t do at least you tried and you just have to try until you get it correct. Effort is the key thing to success.
I have given you my ideas and how I look at it. There are many more but this is too long so I have to stop. The thing is to try to control.

When I feel angry , I will play computer games . It is fun because I always win and at the same time it is challenging. After an hour of playing games , I feel more relaxed and I would not be angry anymore .

Another thing I would do if I am angry is to talk to my parents or another adult that I know . For example , when my brother makes me angry , I would tell my parents.

I would also watch television to make me feel happier . When I watch television , I would watch comedies to cheer me up and make me laugh.

One thing that I think would work is to play sports . When I am angry , I can play sports like badminton , swimming or running .

I think we do these things is to forget our anger and to think clearly . If we do not think clearly , we might do rash things like vandalizing and stealing other goods .

When I have negative feelings, I imagine a scene from my storybook/movie or read my storybook (as I love to read), trying to distract myself from the problem. If this doesn't work, then, I go to the washroom and let it go. To me, it is easier sometimes to let it go than to keep it or distract myself from the problem. Sometimes, I comfort myself by solving the problem in my head, telling myself it's going to be alright. Sometimes, at home, I tear toilet paper and throw it in the toilet bowl (although if it misses I pick it up).:)
These are the ways I have used to control my negative feelings.
There are also some ways that I've learned from books but have never used them before.
1) Take a piece of string and tie it on your wrist or somewhere where you can easily get to it. Every time you're angry, tie knots on it until you’ve calm down.
2) Think cool thoughts. (As long as you do not think about the problem)
3) write what is bothering you on a piece of paper.
That is all. Thank you for reading.

When I get angry, I usually 1.Lie down and take a nap(when I am at home) because it helps me forget what happened.2.Look at the scenery and try to forget what happened.3.Listen to certain calm songs.4.Squeeze something soft to vent out all my anger on the toy or item e.g. a soft toy or stress ball .5.throw something like a ball(that won't break)at a wall.6.take deep breaths. Most of the time these methods help me not to feel angry at someone or something and help me control my feelings

There are many ways that I use to control my negative feelings. Listening to classical music, not only helps me calm my negative feelings it also helps me relax. I will also speak to my parents and sometimes the school counsellor to see what they can do to help me. Taking a walk and seeing the greenery may also help. I also keep reminding myself to forget these feelings as they cause harm to my body because toxin is released whenever I feel unhappy. At times, when I am very angry I will do breathing exercises to calm myself. I try at almost every event to think positive as much as possible and I also learn to accept constructive criticism and ignore negative criticism.

For example, when my brother broke my things and don’t apologize to me I will try to control my anger by counting to ten and tell myself to stay positive . Everyday, there is a lot of thing around me that makes me feel angry, but I will always try my best to control my anger .

I believe that controlling our strong negative feelings is really important as we will not be able to think straight when we are frustrated. It really depends on how well you control your frustration.
As for me, I will firstly listen to music as music is my passion. Listening to music helps to calm me down and allows me to think straight and not do foolish stuff that I will regret.
Secondly, I will open the food cabinet and look for food to eat or drink. My mum encourages me to eat healthily so I will always look for fruits like Grape and Banana. I hope that everyone will try their best to eat healthily.
I have a blog where I share with people around the world how I am feeling. I will also make use of my blog and express my frustration in words. You may also ask your sibling or auntie to lend you their ears while you pour out your frustration. Trust me. This really works.
I hope that everyone will not get frustrated so easily as it is not very healthy to get frustrated often as it rises your blood pressure.

Listen to the songs that i like most. 3.Play computer games. These are the way that will help me calm down. After calming down, i will think whether am i right to be angry. Example: my friend broke my pencil,i know he did not do it on purpose, then i will realised that i am wrong to be angry as it was just an accident. After reading this article i think that the most important thing to do when we are angry is to calm ourselves down first.

After I have read the article, I would now invent creative ways like squeezing my fists very hard and vent all my anger on it. I would also take 3-6 deep breaths to control my anger. I would take the angry load off my mind by also watching my favorite television show. Or, I would read my favorite magazine ‘ The Young Scientists ‘, and at the same time I would learn some very new interesting science experiments which I would sometimes try at home. This article in the ‘Little Red Dot ‘helped me in a way that we have to learn think in other people’s shoes and learn how to control our anger towards a person.

Some ways that you can adopt to your lifestyle are ways that you can fell the calmness in you and dispose of your negative feelings. What you can do is you can finish what you need to do like homework or chores, then you can relax like playing with friends in the park or listen to music or anything you do that makes you happy. And if you get frustrated over things like homework that you cannot do,don't be upset and just calm down and think over what you can do like ask siblings or parents to help you or you can put the problem in other ways of seeing it like daily problems.

I feel that the person in the article is not able to control his strong negative feelings. Instead, he went and vandalise and steal things which is against the law.
To control my strong negative feelings, one way is that I can listen to some music. I feel that music calms me down and helps me think better.
Another way is to write everything down somewhere and try to reflect. Sometimes it would be good to put myself in other people's thinking.
I can watch a really funny show and laugh my heart out. Laughter is the best medicine. When I think everything through later on, I would not have such strong negative feelings anymore.

3)I can find some distractful activities to distract myself
4)Or you can simply just count to 10 slowly or 100 if necessary
That is how I will do if I am feeling upset. By doing these steps I will feel better and have the energy to do something. Controling your anger is important. If you do not know how to control your anger, you might end up doing something that you will regret after doing so. So, try not to get angry so often:)

If I am at school (recess time), I will go to the library to read some books.
A lot of time I will do a totally different thing for distraction.
Sometimes, I will log on to the computer to Microsoft Power Point to type what are my strong negative feelings. After that I just delete them.
Of course, I only use some of my ways to control my negative feelings, not all.

There are many ways to control your emotions. The most common emotion that can cloud your mind and interfere with your judgement is...anger. Firstly, you should close your eyes, breathe deeply, and count to ten. Clear your mind and focus on things that lighten your mood. Next, find the key reason that you are angry. It may be because of a friend, your parents, etc. Try to put yourself in their shoes and consider how they feel about this. Lastly, remember that there will always be a way to solve the problem. Calm down and control your anger. Ask a teacher or adult for assistance if the problem becomes serious. Don't lose your temper just because of a trivial problem!
Good luck!

The guy who destroyed public property chose a very bad way to relieve his anger...soothing music, drawing, reading, going to the playground, playing computer games and watching television are some good ways of managing stress! If I were him, I would try not to commit anymore crimes and to be a better person. Then, I would start looking around for a job which I am capable of. Actual, what really helps me to relax is playing the piano, watching my favourite cartoon show, reading my favourtie novels, going to play badminton, talking on the phone with my good friend and drawing my favourite cartoon characters! Otherwise, I will just squeeze a small pencil-shaped cushion-the type you squeeze when you are angry and want to cause physical pain to someone.

Also, when I talk to trusted adults, they can give me advise based on their experience. They can also tell me why I actually feel like that. Also, I think that we should not vent out anger out on other people. It is most probably not their fault. Sometimes when I feel bad and want everybody to feel like that, I shut myself in my room and do things that I like.

Most of the time I prefer reading a book than hiding away from the world. I can also listen to soothing music to calm me down. This way, I will not flare up easily In front of anyone.

There are many different ways to control our strong negative feeling. The most common negative feeling is anger. Everyone will experience anger. One of the ways is to find a quiet spot and sit down, after taking a few deep breaths,we will most likely have already calm down. This is just one of the many ways to control our own strong negative feelings. There are still many other ways waiting for us to use them. For example, we may listen to our favourite song or watch a comedy or even go out for a run. Of course, different people have different ways that suit them best in calming themselves down.

When i am angry, i will calm myself down by telling myself that being angry does not help. Also, i will walk away from the scene. I will watch some of my favourite shows or cartoons to cool myself down.
Sometimes, i will also talk about the thing that made me angrywith my parents or teachers and ask what can i do to control my emotions.
If you are angry, you should not vent you anger on other persons. However, you can shut yourself in your own room and turn off all the lights. Then lay on your bed, close your eyes and count to ten.

If I am angry, I will listen to my favourite music, watch youtube, take deep breaths, watch television, calm myself down, or even take a nap. Taking a nap, listening to music and taking deep breaths really help me a lot... I do not know why, but when I listen to my favourite songs, I tend to make myself a little more comfortable and it helps me to relax. Those methods help me to calm down myself, so if u are angry, stressed or even frustrated, try those methods! I hope it will help you... :)

Anger, frustration, hate are all negative emotions which may lead to many different outcomes, such as a fight to theft etc. Some of these actions may cause someone to be injured hospitalised or death and one may be fined jailed or both. Even though some people may be able to calm down easily I have to work on mine. When I am in school. For me I usually calm myself down by breathing in and out deeply and. If does not work I move to a corner of the room I am in and relax and clear my mind, it is not easy but it helps, I just try to think of the words "clear your mind" and I would relax. If I still have little or no progress I have two routes go crazy (1 percent) or step three (most of the time). Step three for me relax a little and forget about why I am angry and think about something that will make me happy. Final step for me is containing my anger until I reach home but I would usually forget about it before I reach home.
When I reach home. I will breathe deeply while trying to count to 100.Step 2: sit down in somewhere private even the toilet and meditate while clearing my mind. Next step (if first to do not work) I will try my best to concentrate on something else such as what I like. Another step is to play with fire in my balcony while burning items, or/and reading comic books or/and playing music and computer games

When I get angry or frustrated with something, I will just go to the bed and sleep for awhile till I wake up later on. This helps me to calm down because I will forget what I was frustrated about.
Another way to calm down is to just read a book, a nice one or something that interests you. When you read the book, you will be to engrossed in it until you forgot what you were thinking.
The last way is to go to a nearby park for a walk or you can hear your favourite music for about 5 minutes. I prefer to hear Rock or Pop. But when I get angry, I just hear cool and soothing music.

This is how I cool myself down.

I do not have strong negative feelings, but to me, in order to control your emotions, you should always see the brighter side of things and think about how the situation can benefit you. For example, if you feel upset about something that someone did, you should try to talk to another person about it (middle person).

Do not let your emotions take over you no matter what it is. If you think it is impossible to control your emotions, you should have some time alone and forget about the situation for a while. After that, you can try to talk nicely to that person about the situation.

To be able to control your emotions is very important to everyone. It will help you to overcome difficulties in life.

Nadiah 5 Respect said...

To me, in order to control your emotions you must try to stay calm and look on the brighter side of the situation. For example, if you are feeling stressed not able to do a task, you can take a deep breath, wait a minute or two and try doing it again. If it still does not work, leave the task alone for about ten minutes and think of another way of doing it.

Sometimes when I am angry, I think of happy stuff.
